i think this video on youtube i’ve made gives hope the all you need is the music, in the pocket, now, and the good times albums will finally see the light of day and be released on remastered cd this year in 2013!

i sent rob cotto an email about finally getting All You Need Is The Music, In The Pocket, Now, Come See About Me, and The Good Times on remastered CD.
and rob said Neil owns the rights to these albums and has the original master tapes to these neil and dara songs i feature from rare LP albums in the youtube video i made above.
but rob doesn’t say when or if Neil will finally release these popular albums himself this year or any time on remastered CD
it’s kind of up in the air and limbo whether these albums will ever see the light of day on remastered CD
um, what do you guys think?
Great fantasy album Andy! I’d like to add a “Bonus track” ; Neil and Dara singing “Kiddio” when Dara must have been about 10 years old.
It would be wonderful to have all those albums on CD, maybe someday our wishes will come true!
My biggest wish would be for Neil to record “My World Keeps Getting Smaller Everyday” with just piano accompaniment; love that song and only have the live recording from Australia

this is my dream fantasy for neil to one day release this as an LP. represents what i think are the best songs from the All You Need Is The Music, In The Pocket, Now, and The Good Times albums!
do you have a youtube or other link for the track of neil and dara singing kiddio together? this is something i don’t have with neil and dara singing together! and is there other songs neil and dara have written and recorded the general public doesn’t know about that you have too?
that sounds cool. um. the fact neil has the master tapes to these albums he made with dara gives me hope they might finally see the light on remastered cd. the problem is rob cotto won’t be specific on when or if it’ll happen. neil hasn’t talked about this publicly. so it’s frustrating. you know?
since neil has the material in his home or studio. you’d think it be easy for him to transfer LP tracks from All You Need Is The Music, In The Pocket, Now, Come See About Me, and The Good Times onto remastered CD. with album covers. front and back. and album artwork. right?
I don’t understand why this isn’t being made a big priority right now. these albums neil and dara made together are over 20 years old. they’re popular. many have them on LP. and they’re the last treasure trove to be put on remastered CD
I just don’t get why this is such a big obstacle to make a reality. what do you think, Anne?

I finally have a copy of The Good Times album! 37 years in the making!
and here’s my review of the album:
the album cover of neil is striking. maybe the best cover photograph for a neil album cover since the All You Need Is The Music record in 1978.
the back cover and cover art is cool too. you see a magic castle and scenery. did dara think of it?
next. the songs and stuff…
um. it’s impressive dara writes lyrics to these songs. to all the songs. on the album. like paint me again. and tomorrow never came. cause dara’s a brilliant songwriter. and dara’s songwriting brilliance shows on the good times!
and neil sings the songs heartfelt. you can hear and feel the pain and joy too neil sings on these songs like paint me again and tomorrow never came.
it’s a different way neil sings the songs on this album. you can sense his bitter fallout from the elektra label on tomorrow never came.
and you can hear and sense his creative farewell on paint me again.
um. dara gets a big gold star for writing such a great and creative song like paint me again. big surprise from dara
and you hear the sweet sounds and voice of dara on the title track the good times and on the cool and dreamy sweet dreams of you too. dara brings it. like a preview of singing comps like x-factor and american idol. dara’s that good.
so i know why it’s one of your fav albums, Anne
Neil and Dara bring it on The Good Times. Like no other before them on an album! writing and singing
and hearing the album this way makes me want Neil Sedaka to finally put The Good Times album on remastered CD this year in 2013 even more!

i was thinking. um. anybody know why Dara doesn’t sing songs on either of Neil’s Music Of My Life or Real Neil CDs? um. David Foster produced Music Of My Life. and um. David Foster’s produced songs for Dara before like My Guy. it would make sense for Dara to sing on a Neil CD produced by David Foster? Right? and on Real Neil you’d think Dara would sing co-lead on some of the new songs from it. i don’t understand why Dara’s left out of both of these recently made Neil CDs. anybody know why?
hey. you know dara impresses on the 2003 version of laughter in the rain on the show goes on from the same year of 2003. it’s 2013.and um. dara knocks the 2003 laughter version right out of the park. um. dara’s better on this version than the laughter in the rain version she made for timeless and tuneweaver. makes you think why dara doesn’t sing more songs on the show goes on CD from 2003? and when neil and dara will team up again for another record? both with writing and singing? and if dara will make a follow up solo CD to I’m Your Girlfriend?
hey everybody. um. is The Good Times Record from 1986 the last confirmed LP Neil and Dara made together before Neil returned to music again with the tuneweaver CD in 1995? or did Neil and Dara make more albums after The Good Times record before the tuneweaver CD in the 90′s?
i found some sites supposedly selling digitally remastered CDs of In The Pocket and Come See About Me. I don’t know about them. Gotta be unofficial. But maybe worth a purchase. um. I don’t see official releases coming out anytime soon. maybe it’s worth a purchase. um. they both feature dara in BIG way. maybe it’s worth. you never know
